Those are my new skis Volkl Attiva AC2 - Contruction Double Grip LT Core 20/20 Sensorwood (156, 116-72-103, 13.0). I also have Nordica OLYMPIA SM 8 boots. I went to test them on Alpine Meadows resort this Sunday. At first I saw a very big difference in how easy the skis were to control. I was so happy that I decided to go on some black diamonds - the first one was not too bad and I got extra bold. The one called "Waterfalls" made me realize that I need to work on my technique A LOT. I still did not give up and went on "The face"- moguls on a steep slope. This was a big mistake - I have spent a lot of time and energy to crawl down. After this I skied only on blue slopes for the rest of the day. It was really good!
